13mm Moissanite Cuban Chain
Price range: $985.00 through $1,170.00
13mm is a statement width. Worn over a shirt it covers most of the collarbone, and the paving reads as one continuous surface rather than a row of individual stones. This is the width that photographs best.
Specifications

- Solid 925 sterling silver
- Rhodium or 14k gold plated
- 13mm width

Choosing a length
At this width length is about where the chain sits relative to your collar rather than about fit. 18in rides high on the neck. 20in is the standard and what most people picture. 22in drops to the top of the chest, which is the one to take if you wear it outside a shirt.

Moissanite, answered
Is moissanite a real gemstone?
Yes. Moissanite is silicon carbide (SiC), a distinct mineral first discovered in the Canyon Diablo meteor crater in Arizona in 1893. It is not a diamond simulant and not a substitute — it is its own stone, with its own hardness and its own optical behaviour.
Will moissanite pass a diamond tester?
Most common diamond testers read thermal conductivity, and moissanite registers as diamond on those. Testers that also measure electrical conductivity will correctly identify it as moissanite. We are upfront about what our stones are: silicon carbide, not diamond.
How durable is moissanite for everyday wear?
Moissanite scores 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, second only to diamond at 10. That puts it well above the stones used in most fashion jewelry and makes it suitable for daily wear, including chains and bracelets that take knocks.
Does moissanite look different from a diamond?
It has more fire. Moissanite has a refractive index of 2.65 against a diamond at 2.42, so it throws noticeably more rainbow flashes in direct light. Some people prefer that look — it is the reason we build with it rather than around it.
What are the shipping, return and warranty terms?
US orders ship free and every order is tracked door to door. If a piece is not right you have 30 days from delivery to return it, and every Amison piece carries a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
